beehiiv's 2026 price increase: what you'll pay at your list size

beehiiv renamed its plans in October 2026 (Scale is now Lite, Max is now Pro) and raised most prices. Small lists barely notice. At 100,000 subscribers, Lite costs 38% more and Pro 48% more.

Month-to-month billing costs more (for example, Lite at 1,000 subscribers is $59 monthly vs $49 on annual). Source: EmailOctopus, citing beehiiv's pricing page; entry prices confirmed in beehiiv's own guide (checked 13 Oct 2026).

Should you move?

For most lists under 25,000 the rise is $6 to $23 a month on Lite: annoying, rarely worth a migration on its own. Moving a newsletter costs you time, a deliverability warm-up and sometimes features you rely on (beehiiv's ad network and referral program have no exact match elsewhere).

The case for looking around is strongest if you are on Pro with a large list, or if you run a paid newsletter and want to know what you'd keep elsewhere. Two quick checks:

Leaving before your renewal? The Newsletter Switch Kit covers beehiiv to Ghost, Kit or Buttondown: export, paid subscribers, a deliverability warm-up and announcement emails.

$19 one-time. Checkout opens early November; join the list for launch.
